Issue

Windows runtime errors.

Cause

The runtime or run-time error message can be caused by:
  1. Confliction with TSR or other running program
  2. Software issue
  3. Computer Virus
  4. Memory issue

Solution

Before following the below recommendations for troubleshooting your runtime error if you're getting a runtime error with a runtime error code and error message such as "Runtime error 75 path/file access error", skip to the below runtime error listing for a listing of runtime error codes and additional information and causes for these errors.
Confliction with TSR or other running program
If you are encountering a runtime error message while in Windows or above ensure that the issue is not being caused by a third-party program or TSR by end tasking all open programs.
If, after end tasking all TSRs, you continue to experience the same issue and are running Windows 95 or Windows 98, verify that no utility or program is being loaded in the autoexec.bat / config.sys that is causing your issue by temporally renaming the files. To do this, follow the below instructions.
  1. Boot to a MS-DOS prompt.
  2. Once at the MS-DOS prompt, type:

    cd\ <press enter>
    ren autoexec.bat autoexec.ch <press enter>
    ren config.sys config.ch <press enter>

    Once completed, reboot the computer.
Software issue
If your issue persists it is possible that the program, utility or game causing the runtime error may have issues. Verify through the developer's web site that all updates or patches that may be available have been downloaded and applied.
If no patches or updates are available, uninstall and reinstall the program that is causing the issue. If you are having a runtime error in your operating system, reinstall the operating system.
Add-on, plug-in, or other extra software
Many runtime errors are also caused by other add-ons, plug-ins, or other extra software that has been installed onto the computer and is associated with the program generating the error. If you have any extra software installed that is associated with the program generating the error make sure there are no available updates for the programs and try uninstalling each of them to verify they're not the cause of your issue.
Computer virus
Because computer viruses are capable of tampering with the system settings / memory it is possible for a computer virus to generate a runtime error. If you are currently running a virus protection program on your computer ensure it has the latest updated patch or .dat file.
If you do not have a computer virus protection program it is recommended one be purchased or that a demo be temporarily downloaded to scan your computer hard disk drive for viruses.

Memory issue
Finally, if you have followed all of the above recommendations, it is possible that you may be encountering a hardware / memory related issue. We recommend that you first contact the developer of the program causing the issue for any possible solutions. If no solutions are found, we recommend you contact the computer or motherboard manufacturer for additional recommendations or service.

Beza Antara Patskom 3.0 Dan Patskom PGP

Assalammualaikum dan salam sejahtera kepada semua. Di sini ingin saya terangkan perbezaan antara Patskom 3.0 dan Patskom PGP.

Ingin dinyatakan anda perlu memastikan terdahulu PC yang digunakan oleh anda menggunakan Office versi berapa. Ini kerana Patskom 3.0 hanya berfungsi dengan Office 2003 kebawah sahaja dan tidak berfungsi sekiranya anda menggunakan Office 2007. Penawarnya ialah anda hanya perlu memasukkan Excel 2003 sahaja pada PC baru anda itu dan kedua-dua versi dapat digunakan. ^_^

Manakala Patskom PGP boleh berfungsi pada Office 2007 dan 2003 ( berdasarkan pengalaman saya) walaupun mempunyai kekurangan fungsi.

Masalah PATSKOM PGP: Kalau di buka fail baru, kita kena Save lagi utk kali ke-2. 
Kena SAVE AS: ENABLE ALL MACroS.. 
If not memang x leh buka... Fail yg d Simpan.

Dalam tutorial ini saya andaikan anda telah download perisian Patskom PGP dan perisian ini di letakkan di Desktop (Gambar 1).

1. Double click setup.msi (file yang telah di download sebelum ini).

2. Click  Terus  apabila Screen Patskom Setup dipaparkan.

3. Pada screen Pra Syarat Penggunaan anda bolehlah membaca syarat-syarat yang ditetapkan oleh pihak “Penyedia” dan jika anda bersetuju dengan syaratnya, Tick pada Saya bersetuju menerima pra syarat tersebut. Gambar 3 – (1)
Seterusnya Click Terus. Gambar 3 – (2)

4. Di screen “Folder Pemasangan” ia memberitahu di mana file applikasi Paskom akan dipasang. Di dalam tutorial ini biarkan saja di  C:\Program Files\induk \

 6. Apabila mesej Patskom telah siap dipasang dipaparkan, ini menunjukkan applikasi Patskom anda telah berjaya dipasang di komputer anda.

7. Satu icon PatskomPGP akan muncul di Desktop anda.

8. Untuk menguji applikasi Patskom cuba Double Click pada icon PatskomPGP  tersebut.

9. Untuk makluman anda terdapat 2 jenis mesej akan dipaparkan jika anda menggunakan Office 2003. 
    - Salah satunya seperti Gambar 8a dan satu lagi seperti Gambar 8b

Ini adalah kerana Security Level untuk Macros telah ditetapkan pada High. (Rujuk No. 10)

Pada mesej ini Security Level untuk Macros telah ditetapkan pad Medium.
Jika mesej ini dipaparkan, Click pada “Enable Macros”. (Rujuk Gambar No.13)

10. Berikut cara untuk mengubah Macros Security Level dari High ke Medium.

10.1 -Setelah anda dapat mesej seperti di atas (Gambar 9) Click OK

10.2  -Click  Tools – Macro – Security…     (Rujuk Gambar 10)

10.3  -Screen Security Level akan dipaparkan dan anda boleh lihat terdapat 3 level yang anda boleh tetapkan, High, Medium, Low  (Gambar 11).

10.4  -Untuk applikasi Patskom ini disarankan anda menetapkan Security Level  pada peringkat Medium. (Gambar 12)

  •  Tick pada bulatan Level Medium (Gambar 12-No. 1), dan Click OK (Gambar 12-No. 2)

11. Untuk menguji sekali lagi applikasi Patskom anda cuba Double Click pada icon PatskomPGP di Desktop.

12.  Jika mesej ini dipaparkan (Gambar 13), Click pada “Enable Macros”.

14. Screen Menu Utama Patskom akan dipaparkan (Gambar 14), ini menunjukkan applikasi Patskom anda sudah sedia untuk digunakan.

15. PERHATIAN – Sebelum menggunakan applikasi Patskom anda, lebih baik anda buat semakan pada Regional Settings kerana setting pada bahagian ini amat penting. Ia melibat sistem pengiraan pada applikasi Patskom. 

Diharap tutorial ini dapat membantu anda atau pada sesiapa yang menghadapi masalah untuk memasang applikasi Patskom PGP.  Tutorial ini sekadar untuk membantu dan jika anda masih menghadapi masalah dengan applikasi Patskom ini, disarankan anda rujuk kepada pihak “Penyedia”.
Sekarang anda bolehlah menjalankan applikasi Patskom atau dengan kata lain “BUAT KERJA”.

Remove MS Removal Tool (Uninstall Guide)

MS Removal Tool adalah jangkitan komputer dari satu program yang sama sebagai SystemTool. Jangkitan ini juga dikategorikan sebagai program anti-spyware seperti berpura-pura menjadi program anti-virus, tetapi sebenarnya sebuah program yang memaparkan amaran keselamatan palsu dan hasil scan untuk membuat anda berfikir komputer andadijangkiti. MS Removal Tool dipasang melalui penggunaan malware yang akan memasang program ke komputer anda tanpa pengetahuan atau izin. Ketikadipasang, fail jangkitan akandibuat di dalam folder bernama rawak di C: \ Documentsand Settings \ All Users Data \ Aplikasi\, di XP, atau C: \ Documents and Settings \ AllUsers Data \ Aplikasi \, pada Windows Vista danWindows 7. Ini kemudiannya akandikonfigurasikan untuk memulakan secara automatik apabila anda log masuk ke komputer anda.





1. Download software Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware.
2. Reboot windows dalam safe mode with networking - restart komputer dan tekan f8 sehingga keluar paparan safe mode.
3. Install program Malwarebytes yang sudah di download tadi. Kemudian update program tersebut.
4. Setelah update , launch program Malwarebytes. Untuk scan komputer pastikan memilih perform full scan. Ianya akan mengambil masa yang agak lama.
5. Sekiranya Malwarebytes mengesan spyware tersebut, pergi ke show result button. Kemudian remove spyware tersebut. Selepas itu reboot komputer anda.
6. Kemudian download http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/bats/hosts-perm.bat . Setelah download double click, paparan screen hitam akan kuar dan tutup dengan pantas.
7. Sekarang anda perlu delete file host dalam system windows anda C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\HOSTS
Download file host :
windows xp :- http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/misc/host-files/windows-xp/hosts
windows 7 :- http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/misc/host-files/windows-7/hosts
windows vista :- http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/misc/host-files/windows-vista/hosts
Setelah download file host mengikut windows , paste kan ke C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc
8. Akhir sekali reboot komputer anda. InsyaAllah dengan sedikit usaha komputer anda akan kembali pulih.

Masalah DrWatson Postmortem Debugger

Artikel ini saya buat berdasarkan pengalaman yang pernah berlaku sewaktu  copy sebuah file dari folder satu ke folder yang lain.Error berikut terpapar:

Caranya cara mengatasinya adalah :

1. Klik menu Start lalu klik Run...
2. Pada menu Run... ketik regedit
3. Lalu buka folder HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows NT > Current Version
4. pada folder Current Version, cari folder Aedebug, dobel klik pada Auto lalu ganti Value Data menjadi 0

5. Jika sudah, tutup regedit dan restart komputer.

Benefits and disadvantages.

When Deepfreeze is installed while the system is still clean, for example when newly installed, the system will remain clean after a reboot now matter what's happened during normal use. The Internet cache will remain empty, unauthorized deleted applications and files will return, changes to Internet Explorer disappears, worms, virus, spyware, yes..., all kind of malwares completely disappears after a reboot and the system simply remain as it were when newly installed. Weird right..?

If your computer have more than one partition or hard drive you can choose only to freeze the system drive (usually drive C:\) and let the other drives, after your choice, be thawed in normal state for easily saving files to them. When you want to make a change, such as install an application, you simply switch to normal mode, reboot and then do your stuff. Deepfreeze's configuration options are password protected to prevent unauthorized changes, so you're no longer need to worry about malwares or someone changing the system without yours, or your superiors approval

Deepfreeze work just fine installed on network connected workstations. We have tested the program on all kinds of Windows PC's with deferent systems such as Windows 98 SE and Windows Millennium (with flying desktops), Windows 2000 workstation, Windows XP connected to NT4 Primary Domain Controllers and connected to Windows 2000 and 2003 Domain Controllers with Active Directories.

However there are some disadvantages. Many people like to use Outlook Express for mailing. Depending how you setup Outlook it will download your mail from the mail server to the local computer and then empty your mail account on the server (can be changed in Outlook to keep the copy's on the server). If you don't make that change you will lose your mails forever. That goes for all other simultaneous mail applications to. The mail address book is still a problem since the frozen drive can't remember any changes.
A much better solution to work around this problem is to use Webmail instead of Outlook (the biggest problem by that is really not a technical one but to convince the scared and reluctant users to change the habits ;-D). Webmail never download or deleting anything before you tell it to do so which greatly reduce the danger from malware attacks, also without Deepfreeze installed, and the address book will always remain untouched.

You always need to remember that Deepfreeze is installed. if you forget and then make some changes to the desktop, installing some applications, stores some valuable documents or whatever involving the frozen drive, the changes will disappear forever after rebooting.

Deepfreeze has to be loaded in the system to work and will therefore not protect against user changes in BIOS. If you want BIOS to be protected you'll have to make a BIOS password. In most kind of PC's it's still very easy to delete the memory in CMOS and in that way remove the BIOS password. Neither will it protect against USB and CD/DVD booting's such as Win PE or Winternals ERD Commander. Persons that know what they are doing can still harm the system this way but they need to have physical access to the computer to do so.
